OUR STORY
Meratone Construction Limited is a proud indigenous Malawian construction firm established on 10th November 2007. We were officially registered with the Register General of Businesses in Blantyre on 26th January 2009 and with the National Construction Industry Council of Malawi on 12th September 2009.
Starting in the MK15 Million category, our dedication to quality and client satisfaction has driven remarkable growth. Currently, we are registered as a Contractor and Civil Engineers in the unlimited category , a testament to our expanding capabilities and proven track record.

Certificate of Incorporation
This document officially establishes Meratone Construction Limited as a legally registered company under the Malawi Companies Act, allowing it to operate, enter contracts, and own assets.
PPDA Certificate of Registration
This certificate qualifies Meratone Construction to bid for and participate in government and public sector procurement contracts in Malawi. Registered under the Works category with no upper price limit (above MWK 1 billion), it demonstrates the company meets PPDA's standards for financial capacity, technical competence, and legal compliance required for large public projects.
Tax Clearance Certificate
Issued by the Malawi Revenue Authority, this certificate confirms that Meratone Construction Limited is fully up to date with all domestic tax obligations. It is a mandatory requirement when supplying goods or services to government institutions, and is commonly requested by major private sector clients as proof of good tax standing.
CIRA — Building Contractor (Class 7)
Registered by CIRA under the National Construction Industry Act (Cap. 53:05), this certificate licenses Meratone Construction to undertake building works up to MWK 10 billion in contract value. Class 7 is among the highest building classifications in Malawi, covering large-scale commercial, institutional, and residential construction projects.
