Michael M. Harawa Managing Director

Michael M. Harawa is an experienced Civil Engineer and Contracts Manager with over 20 years of expertise in construction management, contract administration, and infrastructure development. He has a strong track record in delivering large-scale civil and water projects, with skills in project coordination, budgeting, quality management, and ensuring compliance with technical and contractual standards.

He holds an MSc Degree in Integrated Water Resources Management with credit from the University of Zimbabwe and Polytechnic of Namibia.  He also holds  BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Malawi. He is a Registered Graduate Engineer with the Malawi Board of Engineers and is recognized for his strong leadership, team management, and commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency in project execution.

Maliam Memory Milazi-Administrative & Human resource Manager

Maliam Memory Milazi is an Administrative and Human resource Manager at Meratone Construction Company with a background in business management, finance, hospitality, and human resource administration. She holds diplomas in Hotel and Catering Management and Accounting & Financial Management, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with credit. She oversees administration, HR, staff welfare, and organizational support, ensuring efficient operations and is recognized for her leadership, professionalism, and commitment to excellence

Mirriam Stonken-Office Assistant

Office Assistant, Holder of a Diploma in Hospitality and Management very dedicated and organized with 5 years of experience in an enhancing workplace. She is passionate about keeping office operations running smoothly, she has strong communication skills, document management and customer service. She enjoys creating efficient system and contributing to a productive work environment. She is a quick learner with a positive attitude and has the ability to work well both independently and as a team.

Walusungu Kasimba-Accounts and administration office

young, self-motivated accountant dedicated to delivering results that support both personal growth and the success of his organization. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Malawi, The Polytechnic, and is a registered member of ACCA currently studying toward Chartered Accountant certification. Known for his discipline, attention to detail, and proactive approach, Walusungu takes ownership of tasks and consistently works to meet deadlines, improve processes, and add measurable value to Meratone construction Ltd.

Pamela Nyirenda-Accountant

Reliable and detail oriented Accountant with experience in maintaining accurate financial records and achieve financial stability. She possess strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail and experience in financial reporting and tax preparations. Skilled in Microsoft excel and accounting software with a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity and continuous professional development

Bernard Harawa-Chief Stores Clerk

known for his efficiency and reliability in managing store operations. He holds a Certificate in Accounting from the Institute of Certified Accountants in Malawi. A hardworking and detail-oriented professional, Bernard is passionate about organizational growth and takes pride in delivering his tasks accurately and on time. His strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail enable him to work effectively with teams and maintain high standards in all his responsibilities.

Tambulani Harawa-Environmental, Social, Health, and Safety Manager

Tambulani Harawa holds a Diploma in Nursing from Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Livingstonia. He has built his career in health, safety, and environmental management and currently serves as the Environmental, Social, Health, and Safety (ESHS) Manager at Meratone Construction Company. In this role, he ensures compliance with health and safety standards, manages social and environmental risks, and promotes safe workplace practices that protect both people and the environment.

Waliko Nyirenda-Contract Officer

Waliko is a Contract Officer with diplomas in Irrigation Engineering and Civil Engineering, and a certificate in Tendering and Estimation. He has experience in tendering, contract administration, and cost estimation for water, irrigation, and civil projects. He plays a key role in preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, coordinating contract activities, and supporting construction supervision to ensure compliance with standards.
